Great Ultra Luxury Caribbean Cruise & Barbados Offer

Great Ultra Luxury Caribbean Cruise & Barbados Offer

Great late cruise and stay offer – 7 Nights on the luxury Seabourn Odyssey Yacht Harbors Caribbean Cruise with a pre-night stay at Hilton Barbados, and 5 nights post-stay at Tamarind Barbados by Elegant Hotels – All Inclusive Cruise with flights from just £4199 per person.

The Caribbean is proving popular with clients wishing to escape or recover from the awful weather we have endured this winter.  Seabourn are proving VERY popular right now, with their fantastic luxury all-inclusive cruise offering. So it made sense to bring this wonderful Cruise and Stay offer to the Caribbean to your attention.

I always suggest clients stay at least 1 night before departing on a sailing. It’s much better to board feeling rested and relaxed, and not having to worry about any flight delays on the day you are due to set sail! The Hilton Barbados is perfect for this, a short drive to the Port in Barbados, and a short arrival transfer from the airport, with a fantastic beach, great beachside restaurant and newly-renovated rooms.

Seabourn has some great last-minute savings, and is also including a $150 onboard credit, per person, per cruise, as part of a late booking deal. For those not all that familiar with Seabourn, this sums up the experience quite well:

  • Intimate ships with a private club atmosphere
  • Intuitive, personalised service provided by staff passionate about exceeding guests expectations
  • All ocean-front suites, luxuriously appointed
  • Complimentary premium spirits and fine wines available on board at all times
  • Welcome Champagne and complimentary in-suite bar stocked with your preferences
  • Tipping is neither required, nor expected
  • Finest resort at sea that is masterfully designed
  • World-class dining, further enhanced through a culinary partnership with Chef Thomas Keller
  • Ventures by Seabourn™, optional shore excursions, enhance and extend destination experiences. All dining venues are complimentary, dine where, when and with whom you wish

So the experience is extremely inclusive, with everything taken care of in your cruise, and only supplements for extras such as spa treatments, selected bottles and so forth. So not only is it a truly first-class luxury experience, it’s outstanding value too!

The 7 nights Yacht Harbors Itinerary takes in some of the best of the Caribbean visiting some of the more unexplored islands including such gems as St Vincent, Guadeloupe, St Kitts & Nevis, Martinique, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago. Many of these islands are not visited by the large cruise ships.

Tamarind is a much-loved hotel enjoying a great location on the gorgeous Platinum coast on the west of Barbados. Set on a stunning beach, Tamarind is a real Caribbean gem and an ideal place from which to explore the island.

Tamarind is a great option for a post-cruise stay, with Daphne’s (renowned restaurant) just next door and all of the west coast on your doorstep. It’s an ideal base for visitors who may like to make use of the great restaurants the west coast of Barbados is renowned for, but we can of course twin this with any hotel on the island.

Tamarind Barbados has a good choice of restaurants and bars. Breakfast is served in the Sugar Cane Room – an open-air restaurant serving a full buffet breakfast and local Bajan delights to get your day off to a flying start. Rilaks Deck is a South Beach Miami-inspired outdoor lounge that serves light snacks and cocktails. Or take in spectacular ocean views from 246, a beachfront restaurant offering all-day dining and a fresh fruit and vegetable bar as well as à la carte dining with chef’s specialties, themed evenings and live poolside music on select evenings. Zagat is an ocean-fronted, fine dining restaurant creating gourmet Italian fare. Guests can also take part in the Elegance Dine Around Programme at the Tamarind’s sister hotels along the coast, getting there and back with the complimentary water taxi service (during daytime hours).

Guests can eat in style by the beach or you may want to have a private dinner for two right on the beach. For those who love to make eating fun, there is the Sunday Beach Party featuring a grill station, steel pan music, local cuisine and a mini beach bar for the adults.

Tamarind’s 102 guest rooms and suites offer vibrant, modern décor, spacious floor plans, spacious balconies and panoramic ocean views. There are seven different types of guest rooms and suites, each offering individual features, but all rooms at Tamarind include access to on-site recreational activities and are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities: flat screen cable TV, iPod docking station, air conditioning, fridge, safe, hairdryer and bathroom with bathtub and shower.

The spa is small offering a range of treatments or choose the beach side spa cabana location for a relaxing outdoor massage.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities at the Tamarind. Try exploring the Platinum Coast using the hotel’s complimentary water taxi, or the island on your own by renting a car, bicycle or scooter. The concierge team at Tamarind Barbados can arrange catamaran cruises, rugged safari tours, glass-bottomed boat rides, deep sea fishing and more. Keen golfers are close to the Royal Westmoreland, an 18 hole Robert Trent Jones designed course, as well as the 18 hole Apes Hill course.

From the beach, guests have a whole range of complimentary water sports at their disposal, including water skiing, banana boating, snorkelling, sailing, boogie boarding, kayaking, windsurfing and paddle boarding.
