Climate Information

Hot and tropical climate tempered by trade winds throughout most of the year. The driest period is from January to April and there is increased rainfall in summer and towards the end of the year.


Horse Back Riding

Horse back riding along the shoreline is a fantastic way to explore the locality. There are several company’s in Turks and Caicos who can provide all the necessary equipment to make it such an enjoyable experience. Rides can last just a couple of hours up until a full day and there’s no need to be an established rider, most stables can provide suitable ponies and horses for complete novices.

Golf

For one of the most challenging golf courses in the Caribbean try Provo Golf Club on Turks and Caicos. It’s a stunning setting with pristine greens and fabulous fairways, some featuring beautiful lakes which are home to exotic birds such as flamingos and pelicans. The club has excellent facilities including club hire and practice areas. There’s also tennis courts, pro shop and a bar and grill serving delicious food.

Snorkelling and Diving

The islands are perfect for snorkelling and diving in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. Just off shore there’s miles of unspoiled barrier reef teeming with exotic fish. If you would like to try Scuba Diving there are plenty of local dive schools to take you through a PADI certified course.
