Leisure Activities

Horse Back Riding

Horse back riding along the shoreline is a fantastic way to explore the locality. Rides can last just a couple of hours or up to a full day. Don't worry if you're not an established rider as most stables can provide suitable ponies and horses for complete novices.

Snorkelling and Diving

The islands are perfect for snorkelling and diving in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. Just off shore there are miles of unspoiled barrier reef teeming with exotic fish. If you would like to try scuba diving, there are plenty of local dive schools to take you through a PADI certified course.

Thursday Fish Fry

A fun local event with live music and wonderful local food choices. The grilled seafood is simply sublime - don't miss it!

More About Turks and Caicos Islands

The Turks and Caicos islands are located to the South East of the Bahamas and just 8 out of the 40 islands are inhabited. There are world-class luxurious hotels with regular visitors from Hollywood enjoying anonymity and solitude, especially on the boutique island of Parrot Cay, where beachfront homes have been built for the rich and famous. You will find extensive stretches of uncrowded incredibly white beaches and vibrant coral reefs which make this area renowned for being one of the best dive sites in the world. The azure waters of the Caribbean are simply perfect for snorkelling and diving with miles of unspoiled barrier reef teeming with colourful fish and sealife including reef sharks, turtles and neon-bright fish. If you can‘t yet scuba dive, don't worry...there are plenty of local dive schools that can take you through a PADI-certified course. You could also try out kayaking, parasailing, stand-up paddleboarding and Hobie Cats. Providenciales (known as Provo locally) is the most inhabited island of the group and home to the pristine and award-winning Grace Bay Beach. This 12-mile, white-sand beach has calm waters and is simply breathtaking. Parrot Cay sits at the top of the archipelago chain and is a honeymooner's paradise. This tranquil retreat has gentle turquoise waters lapping at impossibly white-sand beaches. It's just the place to indulge in a complete get-away-from-it-all holiday where the most taxing thing you'll have to do is decide which spa treatment you want to try next.
