Brisbane is a fantastic city, but it is often overshadowed by Sydney and Melbourne. It's a shoppers paradise and on the Southbank it also has a man-made beach as well as a great cafe culture. It's also the gateway to the Gold Coast, home to sandy beaches and some of the world's top surfing spots.
This area is renowned for many activities, golf and theme parks but for a more relaxing activity head to Byron Island and try whale watching, you might also get to see dolphins, Manta Rays and turtles too.
