Disney – Magic Kingdom FULL DAY

This is where you will get what you expect from Disney, the castle, parades, characters and small and a few large rides. The ‘magic’ includes elephants flying, teacups dancing and the princesses are real. You will find some of Florida’s highest mountains; hop aboard the Big Thunder Railroad, plunge down five stories on Splash Mountain and blast off on Space Mountain. Ride a doom buggy through The Haunted Mansion and set sail on Pirates of the Caribbean with Captain Sparrow.

Disney – Epcot FULL DAY

This is the more interactive and educational experience from Disney. Lots of learning and discovering as well as the ability to visit different lands in their world showcase. In the evening they have a laser show which is worth watching. There are a few big rides here too. The visitor can expect imagination and innovation – hop on a ‘clamobile’ and descend into the ocean in The Seas with Nemo and friends; take to the skies on the hand glider flight Soarin. Experience an astronaut’s mission flight to Mars with Space.

Disney – Animal Kingdom MOST OF A DAY

A great fun day out with lots of rides, quite compact unlike the other two above which seem to go on for miles! This park also includes amazing adventures with wild animals. Lavish stage shows, many exciting attractions and many lovable characters. ‘The Expedition Everest’ is a high altitude high speed runaway train adventure and watch out for the legionary Yeti. Enjoy fantastic musical shows ‘Festival of the Lion King’ and ‘Finding Nemo’. Experience 100 acres of Wild African Savannah on Killimanjaro Safaris.

Disney – Hollywood Studios MOST OF A DAY

Experience the power of the force and the magic of Disney combined in the new ‘Star Tours – The Adventures Continue’. Ride an interactive 4-D adventure like no other at ‘Toy Story Mania’. Plunge down 13 stories at ‘The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror’ or take the fast lane on ‘Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith’

Marseilles

Marseilles was the fifth port of call on our most recent cruise aboard Oceania’s Riviera visiting the Italian and French Riviera.  Marseilles is the second largest French city and its main seaport. I was expecting a large rather dingy port but how wrong I was. Out of all the ports...
