The 2 Waterparks & Downtown Disney

Walt Disney World Resort – The 2 Waterparks & Downtown Disney

Disney – Interactive in Downtown Disney

Your Disney tickets also get you in here and this is great for a few hours in the evening or on a rainy day. It is 5 floors full of video games or interactive experiences, like build your own rollercoaster then ride it in a simulator! A fun area buzzing with entertainment, dining, shows including the spectacular La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil. A huge range of shops awaits you including the huge Disney Character Store. See the separate column on Shopping.

Disney Waterparks – again these are included in your tickets and are all a fun day out but they get very busy and you need to be there early to get a sunbed! At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon experience fast waterslides. Catch 6 foot waves at the Surf Pool and snorkel with real sharks at ‘Sharks Reef’. The children’s area includes pint sized raft rides.

Enjoy the sun at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park which looks like a frosty ski resort including working chair lift. The resort‘s features include one of the fastest free falling waterslides and includes a one-acre wave pool area. The park has many exciting water based activities like ‘Runoff Rapids’ (plunge down raft rides) and ‘Tike’s Peak’, a special children’s play area.
