Other Attractions in Orlando
If this is your first visit to the Orlando area you may have to save these other attractions for another time unless any of them are of particular interest.
Legoland – this is an hours drive from Disney, a great day out but is really aimed at younger children (2 to 12) although may appeal to adults! The largest LEGOLAND Park in the world, it features more than 50 rides, shows and life-sized LEGO displays.
Busch Gardens at Tampa Bay – is like an Alton Towers about an hour or so drive from Orlando. It combines world class thrill rides, Broadway-style entertainment and allows you to get up close to unique and exotic animals.
There is a never ending list of adventures in the area including:
You can design your own roller coaster at WonderWorks or at Disneyquest indoor Interactive Theme Park at Downtown Disney.
Take an exhilarating journey to space on the Shuttle launch Experience at Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral which includes the new Atlantis Space Shuttle Exhibition, which opened in June 2013.
