Marrakech is modern and spacious with tree-lined boulevards, while the bustling old city was built behind 8 miles of red ochre walls. The overall atmosphere is extraordinary, with beautiful gardens, Mosques, fountains, palaces and, most of all, the variety of souks each with its individual speciality. Shopping is an adventure and time should be left to barter for goods; head to Gueliz for the city’s vibrant nightlife. Many of the former merchant’s homes with an interior courtyard and garden have been converted into luxurious boutique hotels know as Riads, each with its own personality.

Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains

The central location of Marrakech makes it ideal for exploring some of the famous Atlas Mountain ranges which reach 11,000 feet in parts; this can make for an excellent two centre holiday.

Two Centre Holidays – Marrakech and the beach

Essaouira, an attractive and popular coastal town and resort can also be easily combined with a holiday in Marrakech. Also the famous beach resort of Agadir can be combined with Marrakech, flying into one airport and out of the other. Please ask for further details.
