Holi Festival of Colour in India
This festival takes place in March, with bonfires, concerts and street parties throughout various parts of India. Multi coloured dyed powder and water are thrown around everywhere. It is a joyous celebration of life and love.

Carnival in Rio is often known as the world’s largest party! 2 million party-goers visit each day and take to the streets filled with salsa dancing and glittering costumes.

Hanami – Cherry Blossom Festival, Japan
From late March until early May each year, the Cherry trees (or Sakura) bloom across the countryside of Japan. Hanami is the ancient tradition of “flower viewing” and blossoming trees are treated with great reverence. Friends and family share meals and often a bottle of Saki under the trees.
