This is a fantastic chance to visit and experience the highlights of Western Canada travelling from Calgary, cowboy country right through the Columbia Icefield to stay in a real lodge, see the beauty of the nature around, travel on the Rocky Mountaineer and end in the vibrant city of Vancouver. What more could you ask for especially on a first-time trip to Canada?

From the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Coast this holiday guarantees a host of sightseeing opportunities and exciting experiences. Enjoy the stunning scenery of Banff and Jasper National Parks before boarding the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer for the 2-day journey to Vancouver.
Day 1 – fly from London Heathrow to Calgary with Air Canada (economy class) and, on arrival, transfer to Banff by a scheduled coach service. Check into Brewsters Mountain Lodge for a 3-night stay.
Days 2 & 3 – set alongside the banks of the Bow River and surrounded by mountains. Banff offers a host of sightseeing experiences including the Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain with views of 6 mountain ranges.
Day 4 – travel by coach along the Icefields Parkway recognised as one of the most scenic highways in the world. At the Columbia Icefield venture onto the Athabasca Glacier in an Ice Explorer vehicle and then visit the Glacier SkyWalk with stunning views of the Sunwapta Valley. Keep your camera ready as wildlife including black bear are often seen along the Parkway. On arrival at Jasper check into the Marmot Lodge for a 2-night stay.
Day 5 – today is at leisure to explore the mountain resort of Jasper. We recommend taking a Maligne Lake excursion and cruise to Spirit Island.
Day 6 – board the Rocky Mountaineer for the journey to Kamloops travelling in SilverLeaf Service with its single level dome coach. A myriad of scenic highlights await you including Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Kamloops with breakfast & lunch included today.
Day 7 – re-board the train for the journey west passing through the Coast and Cascade Mountain ranges before reaching Vancouver. On arrival transfer by coach to the Sheraton Wall Centre for a 3-night stay. Breakfast & lunch included today.
Days 8 & 9 – the city of Vancouver is yours to discover; colourful neighbourhoods,
world-class shopping, some of North America’s finest dining and attractions such as Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain & Stanley Park.
Day 10 – arrangements end with a private transfer from your hotel to Vancouver International Airport.
