Ikos Olivia - Halkidiki

I can highly recommend this brand new luxury hotel which is situated on the peninsular of Halkidiki, mainland Greece. After spending 3 nights here when the hotel had just opened my expectations were exceeded by the fantastic surroundings, rooms,service and general standard of the property. The hotel offers all inclusive as standard and you can choose to dine in one of the hotels five restaurants as well as the option to 'dine out' in a local Greek Taverna at no additional cost. The standard of food is just as you would expect from Michelin starred chefs, with a choice of Asian,Italian,French, Mediterranean & Greek mouthwatering dishes. The Ikos Olivia sits on a beautiful white sandy beach and has a few local shops outside ( the complex has a selection of shops on site too), the close proximity to the airport means you also have the advantage of a short transfer - roughly 30 minutes. Rooms- there is a wide choice of accommodation to choose from, superior rooms to the deluxe collection suites ( some with private pool ) all equipped with all the facilities you would expect of a 5 star hotel and a fully stocked mini bar in case of emergencies ! There are also a  range of sporting activities included in the all inclusive package such as a tennis, cycle hire, pedalos, canoeing, beach team sports, football, as well as a fitness centre that organise activities such as water aerobics, zumba, pilates... many other water sports are available but at an additional cost. Ikos also provides a great kids club to keep the youngsters entertained. Evenings at Ikos Olivia will be entertainment packed with laid back live music and exciting West End shows and musicals and shows and movie nights laid on for the youngsters. And for the party lovers, Ikos Olivia beach parties are the place to be. If you are looking for luxury 5 star all inclusive in lovely surroundings then look no further - this hotel has it all.
